“The Application of Artificial Intelligence in the Development of Predictive Models for Labour and Delivery among Malaysian Women.”

The research is spearheaded by Prof. Madya Dr. Aida (O&G) and her esteemed UKM team, alongside Moirai Tech’s scientists and AI engineers. The MOA was officially signed by Prof. Datin Dr. Marina (Dean, Faculty of Medicine UKM), witnessed by Prof. Dr. Ruslinda (Deputy Dean, Nephrology) and Prof. Dr. Ixora (Head of O&G).
This collaboration aims to study and train Moirai Medical AI using an unprecedented 50,000–70,000 delivery datasets—creating predictive models capable of forecasting labour duration, delivery mode, and probability of spontaneous vaginal delivery (SVD) versus lower segment cesarean section (LSCS) even before childbirth begins.
This is not just research.
It is the next step in humanity’s journey toward AI-assisted precision obstetrics—where the wisdom of clinicians is empowered by the intelligence of machines.
