Visit to Moirai Tech: Exploring the Application of AI in Emergency Medical Services

KUALA LUMPUR, 17 July 2026 — The Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), conducted an official visit and strategic discussion with Moirai Tech Sdn. Bhd. to explore the potential application of artificial intelligence (AI) in transforming healthcare delivery, particularly within the field of emergency medicine.

During the session, the delegation was introduced to the AI-powered healthcare ecosystem developed by Moirai Tech. The solutions presented included the AI Triage Kiosk, AI-enabled patient monitoring applications, Internet of Things (IoT) smartwatch devices for real-time monitoring of vital signs, and the Moirai Nexus Dashboard—a centralised platform integrating big data analytics, predictive analytics, and continuous learning capabilities to support clinical decision-making.

The discussion also focused on potential areas of collaboration, including research, technology development, clinical validation, and the implementation of AI-driven solutions. These initiatives aim to enhance the efficiency of patient care, strengthen clinical workflows, and improve the overall user experience within the healthcare system.

It is hoped that this engagement will mark the beginning of a strategic collaboration capable of accelerating the development and adoption of high-impact digital health solutions for the benefit of patients, healthcare professionals, and society as a whole.
